Then again, I was more referring to my time in Spain than 'Europe' as a whole. Not that I didn't love Iceland, but when I'm not traveling around doing nature-y stuff there, I don't think it offers me the sort of balance (and, at times, warmer weather) I seek out in my travels. And, part of the reason I like Spain and Argentina, is that I can communicate there without forcing people to switch to English. Maybe Icelandic someday...
